CMLA LECTURE '23

Please join the Cleveland Medical Library Association for its 2023 Annual Lecture and Reception on Thursday, April 27 at 6:00pm in the Ford Auditorium of Allen Memorial Medical Library, featuring John M. Barry, renowned historian and author of the New York Times bestselling The Great Influenza: the Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History; and Steven Gordon, MD, Chairman of Infectious Diseases at The Cleveland Clinic, discussing public, governmental, political, and medical responses to the 1918 Influenza Pandemic (that killed more than 50 million people worldwide) versus the COVID-19 Pandemic.

PhiDE will be hosting their annual lecture, the Gelfand Lecture, March 30 in the Ford Auditorium. This years lecturer is Dr. Jim Young, former dean of the Learner College of Medicine and Curren Vice President of the Cleveland Medical Library Association. The lecture will last about 45 minutes, then there will be a reception (including free food) with the speaker. The whole campus community is invited to attend FOR FREE!
